Sajde is an Urdu Indie Pop song by Faheem Abdullah about love, separation and the pain of losing someone who meant everything to you. The song starts with regret, as the singer wonders whether things might have been different had he turned to God instead. But his feelings for this person were so strong that his love itself became a form of chahat, mohabbat and ibaadat.
The rest of the song shows what happens after that person is gone. His dreams, happiness, wishes and even the people around him no longer feel the same. He keeps finding that person in his memories and starts seeing them in everything, while every road that once led somewhere now feels pointless.
