Super Junior Becomes Saudi Arabia Tourism Authority’s Official Ambassador

In an exciting announcement on Tuesday, SM Entertainment revealed that world-renowned K-pop group Super Junior has been appointed as the official ambassador of the Saudi Arabia Tourism Authority. The inauguration ceremony took place during a captivating tourism roadshow held at the prestigious Westin Josun Seoul on Monday.

Although unable to attend the ceremony in person, Super Junior’s leader, Leeteuk, expressed his enthusiasm and dedication to promoting tourism in Saudi Arabia through a heartfelt video message. “We are committed to showcasing the beauty of Saudi Arabia to the world. During our recent visit to the country, which was graciously arranged by the Saudi Arabia Tourism Authority, we created unforgettable memories. It’s astonishing how accessible Saudi Arabia is with direct flights from South Korea. We sincerely hope that this partnership encourages an influx of tourists to explore this incredible nation,” shared Leeteuk.

Alhasan Aldabbagh, the head of the Asia Pacific region for the Saudi Tourism Authority, expressed immense delight in having Super Junior as their ambassador, highlighting the strong bond the Authority has forged with the legendary K-pop group. Aldabbagh stated, “We are thrilled to have Super Junior as our official ambassador. Our association with this iconic K-pop group has been exceptional thus far, and we look forward to strengthening our relationship even further through this extraordinary opportunity.”

Established in June 2020, the Saudi Tourism Authority has been actively promoting Saudi Arabia as a premier tourist destination. With 16 offices spanning 38 countries worldwide, including South Korea, the Authority aims to highlight the country’s rich heritage, diverse landscapes, and cultural treasures.

Super Junior’s appointment as ambassadors marks a significant milestone for both the group and the Saudi Tourism Authority.
