K-pop sensation NewJeans member Danielle is gearing up to drop an original soundtrack song for Disney’s highly anticipated film “The Little Mermaid” this week.

Titled “Part of Your World,” the track serves as the Korean version of the movie’s iconic theme song, and will feature Danielle’s enchanting vocals. In a momentous career milestone, the K-pop singer will also make her voice-over debut as she lends her voice to the beloved character Ariel in the Korean-dubbed version of the film.

Fans can look forward to the release of a captivating music video accompanying “Part of Your World,” featuring the talented Danielle. The music video is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday and will be available on Disney Music Korea Vevo’s official YouTube channel.

This highly anticipated release marks Danielle’s first solo single as a Korean Australian singer. Having debuted in July 2022 as a member of the five-piece girl group under Ador, Danielle and her group soared to global stardom with their debut EP, “New Jeans,” and subsequent chart-topping singles like “Ditto” and “OMG.”

The Walt Disney Company Korea announced on Friday that Danielle secured the coveted role through an official audition held at the Disney headquarters, further highlighting her remarkable talent and artistry.

Fans and movie enthusiasts alike can prepare for the enchantment of “The Little Mermaid,” a live-action remake of the beloved 1989 classic, set to hit local cinemas on May 24. With Danielle’s captivating contribution to the film’s soundtrack, anticipation for this new adaptation is reaching unprecedented heights.
